Create Success by STAYING IN your Comfort Zone, w/ Kristen Butler, Power of Positivity

True or False: “Great things never came from comfort zones.”

We often hear we must step out of what is comfortable if we want to achieve success. What if this just causes unneeded pressure on our way to the same goal? I’m joined by Kristin Butler, author of The Comfort Zone, who shares her unique view of the power of staying inside comfort to reach success.

Your Comfort Zone could be the Key to Success

Something we’ve been all taught about success is being CALLED OUT, and I agree with it.

“Your success is on the other side of your comfort zone.”

“Your success is determined by your ability to tolerate discomfort.”

There are hundreds more of these quotes, plus thousands of articles & videos all touting the same belief…that staying in your confort zone is bad.

I believed the same thing UNTIL I unpacked with my guest interview today. Now I’m calling BS on this zone of comfort stuff.

Kristen Butler is the Founder of the mega-popular lifestyle brand Power of Positivity, and Hay House Author of the new book The Comfort Zone, that releases tomorrow everywhere.

Her unique perspective is centered on the belief that you create success FROM your comfort zone; this is something she has done for herself and inspired millions to do the same.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this new concept.

Ep 784 Money, Fear & Your Nervous System: What’s Really Controlling Your Income PART THREE: FREEZE RESPONSE

If you’ve been feeling stuck, unmotivated, or like you just can’t get yourself to sell or take action in your business… this episode will explain exactly why.

What most people label as procrastination or lack of discipline is often a nervous system response called freeze, and it quietly impacts your income more than you realize.

In this episode, I break down how the freeze response shows up specifically around money, sales, and visibility. You’ll understand why you can know exactly what to do and still not do it, how your brain is wired to avoid perceived financial risk, and why your income can stall even when you’re “doing all the right things.”

This is where neuroscience, psychology, and money behavior intersect.

Ep 783 Money, Fear & Your Nervous System: What’s Really Controlling Your Income PART TWO: FLIGHT RESPONSE

You tell yourself you’ll deal with it later.
You’ll check your numbers tomorrow.
You’ll follow up next week.
You’ll finally get clear on your money “when things calm down.”

But that moment never seems to come.
And instead… you stay busy doing everything else.

In this episode, we’re breaking down the flight response with money — the pattern that looks like procrastination, distraction, or “being busy,” but is actually your nervous system trying to avoid discomfort.

This is part of a special series on money, fear, and your nervous system, where we uncover how fight, flight, freeze, and fawn responses shape your income, business decisions, and ability to receive more.

Because avoiding money doesn’t mean you don’t care about it.
It usually means, on a deeper level…
it doesn’t feel safe.

Ep 782 Money, Fear & Your Nervous System: What’s Really Controlling Your Income PART ONE: FIGHT RESPONSE

You’ve been told your drive is the reason you’ll succeed.
So you push harder.
You do more.
You try to control every outcome.

But what if that “hustle” is actually a nervous system response to fear…
and the very thing keeping money feeling stressful, inconsistent, or just out of reach?

In this episode, we’re breaking down the fight response with money — how it shows up, why it gets rewarded, and how it can quietly block your ability to receive more.

This is part of a special series on money, fear, and your nervous system, where we unpack how fight, flight, freeze, and fawn responses impact your income, business growth, and financial patterns.

Because making more money isn’t just strategy.
It’s about whether your body feels safe to hold it.
