Anytime we allow fear to make our choices for us, we end up paying a big price.

One of my private clients said to me on our application call that she “didn’t know if she could afford to work with me right now.”

My initial thought is always a slightly annoyed, “ummmm ok, then why did you apply to work with me?”

Then I quickly remember that her fear is running the show right now, just as mine does when I go to invest in my business in a major way.

So I asked her, “What is your plan to get to where you want to be in your business if you don’t hire me to show you how?”

I asked this question to move her into the logical side of her brain, and out of the emotional fight, flight, or freeze response.

Her reply, “I have no plan, which is why I applied…I’m just scared, this is huge for me, but I know I need to do it.”

The wisdom that comes from being an entrepreneur for almost 15 years and coaching well over 150 thousand people worldwide, is I know how the human brain works, and what to do to help you get out of your own way.
