What to do when someone tells you “they can’t afford it, or now isn’t the right time,” a full step-by-step sales call role-play EP074

Do any of these sounds familiar? “I don’t have the money right now,” “Oh wow, that’s expensive!” “Now isn’t a good time for me financially.”

If you have a business of any kind, you likely have heard these “excuses” at nauseam. If you haven’t heard them, then you have a different issue of not attracting enough ideal clients to you and getting them on a damn call. You need to DM me STAT.

Most sales calls die the moment someone says a version of the excuse, “I can’t afford it.” I use the word “excuse” because that’s all it is. When someone no matter how broke they are REEEEAAAALLLY want a problem they have to be solved or relieved, they will find the money.

When they believe you have the solution to their problem, they will find the funds.

So either you A, didn’t connect their problems with your solutions, or B, you lost your shiz when they started talking about money and didn’t know how to handle it. Maybe you felt bad or pushy saying anything after they told you they were broke…I get it, but look at it this way, you are doing them a disservice by allowing the conversation to stop at their first or even second excuse.

Listen and learn as I take you through a full role-play on how to handle the common money objections.

Ep 819 How to Turn Your Video Views Into SALES Without Giving People the ICK

You can get thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions of video views and still make almost no money from your content.

Because getting people to watch your videos and getting the right people to BUY from you are two completely different skill sets.

In this episode, I’m breaking down how to create profitable content that turns social media views into clients and sales without sounding pushy, overly salesy, scripted, or like every other AI-generated piece of content on the internet.

We’re talking buyer psychology, content conversion, messaging, hooks, calls to action, and how to strategically sell through your videos in a way that feels natural to you AND your audience. Because in 2026, getting attention is only part of the equation. The real skill is knowing what to do with that attention once you have it. Current content-marketing conversations are increasingly focused on that exact gap: turning views into clicks, buyers and revenue while maintaining a recognizable human brand voice in an AI-saturated market

Ep 818 The “Everything Is Going to Shit” Crash Out: How I Handle It in Real Time

What do you do when everything seems to go wrong at once, and you have absolutely no idea how it’s all going to work out?

I was supposed to release a completely different episode today. It was already recorded. Everything was planned. Then I woke up to some major fucking bullshit…followed almost immediately by more bullshit.

So I scrapped the plan and hit record while I was still in it.

This isn’t an episode about resilience from the other side, when everything has worked out and you can package the experience into a beautiful lesson. I’m taking you behind the scenes of how I handle stress, uncertainty, business setbacks and unexpected life problems in REAL TIME, before I know the outcome.

Because when multiple things go wrong at once, your brain loves to take individual problems and turn them into one giant story:
Everything is falling apart.

Shamina takes us inside her own quantum crash-out, when the successful life she had built began crumbling and forced her to confront what achievement, logic and pushing harder could no longer fix. What came next required emotional healing, identity work, learning to trust the unseen, and completely changing her relationship with money, success and herself.
