Instagram and Facebook DM Magic: How to Get Your DM’s Poppin’ with Ideal Clients and What to Say to Them EP203

Two easy ways to get ideal clients slidin’ into your DMs.

Did you guys know that I spend two hours every single day, seven days a week inside my DM’s answering your questions and getting to know all of you?

But it wasn’t always this way, when I started ProjectME about two years ago, I didn’t get any DM’s, well aside from the occasional 90 Day Fiancé guys (insert “you pretty lady”).

Your DM’s and messages are where many of your sales will take place, as that’s where you can build a more intimate relationship with your ideal client, versus your public comments.

Think of it as a cyber-networking, so for all of my fellow introverts out there, it’s incredible! You get to network with people all over the world, without talking live or shaking hands.

So how did I go from zero DM’s to around 45-60 per day without DMing strangers out of the blue (cuz that’s awkward AF).

  1. Encourage people to DM you in your stories, videos and captions on repeat. This way people will feel more comfortable to DM you and not awkward, like they are bothering you.
  2. Ask people a direct question in stories (using video) and encourage them to answer you via DM. Now you have a private conversation being started. But you BETTER REPLY BACK. If you don’t reply back in a short period of time, it will make the other people feel ignored and uncared for.
  3. Do an IG or FB live and DM the people who attended, and reference something from your live, and give them a gift for attending (one of your freebies). This builds trust and rapport with your audience.
  4. Use the poll and quiz features to ask questions, and you can DM direct responses to people who answered. Don’t try to sell them anything-just keep the conversation going and be of service.

Listen to this episode where I break down the details of exactly how I’ve made my DM’s blow up with ideal clients.

Ep 818 The “Everything Is Going to Shit” Crash Out: How I Handle It in Real Time

What do you do when everything seems to go wrong at once, and you have absolutely no idea how it’s all going to work out?

I was supposed to release a completely different episode today. It was already recorded. Everything was planned. Then I woke up to some major fucking bullshit…followed almost immediately by more bullshit.

So I scrapped the plan and hit record while I was still in it.

This isn’t an episode about resilience from the other side, when everything has worked out and you can package the experience into a beautiful lesson. I’m taking you behind the scenes of how I handle stress, uncertainty, business setbacks and unexpected life problems in REAL TIME, before I know the outcome.

Because when multiple things go wrong at once, your brain loves to take individual problems and turn them into one giant story:
Everything is falling apart.

Ep 816 Why Do You Procrastinate When You KNOW What to Do?

You know you need to post the content, talk about your offer, hire the help, make the investment, have the conversation, or finally start the thing you’ve been thinking about for months.

You’ve researched it. Planned it. Journaled about it. Asked ChatGPT 47 different ways. And you’re still not taking action.

This isn’t a motivation or discipline problem. And it definitely doesn’t mean you’re lazy.

Procrastination and self-sabotage can be automatic stress responses designed to protect you from what taking action might expose you to: failure, rejection, judgment, uncertainty, visibility, and even success.
